GDT is a ceramic gas discharge tube from Yinte, which provides common mode protection to ensure instantaneous high voltage protection at the front end. It can handle high surge voltage to around 90V, which is beneficial for secondary processing.
Optional plugin: 2RX090L-8, which has a P-second action speed, action voltage: 72V~108V, inter stage capacitance less than 1PF (at 1MHz). Optional patch: SMD1812-091, which has a P-second action speed, action voltage: 63V~117V, inter stage capacitance less than 1PF (at 1MHz)
2. PPTC refers to the self recovering fuse provided by Yintai Electronics, which can effectively prevent induced currents caused by lightning strikes or abnormal currents generated during interface insertion, isolate and protect the rear end, and restore normal operation of the self recovering fuse after the abnormal current ends. One important point is that it can cooperate with the action time of the first stage gas discharge tube and the second stage TVS, also known as coupling protection. The general selection is SMD1206-012L (60V 125mA Case: 1206 patch), with an internal resistance range of 1.5~3.6 Ω. If there is a special video driver chip, the influence of internal resistance should be considered.
3. Thyristor is a fine protection device that completes secondary processing of unprocessed surges in the previous stage, making the residual surge voltage small enough to protect related circuits such as video decoding.
Device selection: INT.P0080SB-L low residual voltage type.
