The laparoscopic system includes a camera unit, a cold light source, an insufflator, and a suction/irrigation pump, and must comply with GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international) EMC standards. The standards require that all subsystems operate stably and collaboratively in the strong electromagnetic environment of the operating room (especially under electrosurgical intervention): the camera images must be free from interference, the cold light source brightness must be stable, the insufflator pressure control must be accurate, and the suction/irrigation pump must operate reliably. The systems are connected by cables, which are significant paths for interference coupling.
