Fundus cameras used for ophthalmic diagnosis must meet the EMC standards of GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international). They include a flash illumination system, optical lenses, a CCD/CMOS camera, and an image processing unit. The standards require that the electromagnetic pulses triggered by the flash (generating instantaneous intense light and high current) do not affect the normal readout and image transmission of the camera circuitry. Simultaneously, the entire device must operate stably in the examination room environment, and the captured images must be free of streaks or noise caused by interference.
