Portable electrocardiographs (handheld and palm-sized) must comply with GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international) EMC standards. While maintaining the basic performance of an electrocardiograph, they face more stringent challenges in terms of size, power consumption, and interference resistance. The standards require them to be able to acquire diagnostic ECG waveforms in unshielded outdoor or home environments, and to have stronger resistance to motion artifacts and electromagnetic interference (especially power frequency and radio frequency interference). The devices may transmit data via Bluetooth or other methods, and must also comply with the corresponding wireless standards.
