Electronic thermometers (contact type, forehead thermometers, ear thermometers) must comply with GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic) and IEC 60601-1-2 (international) EMC standards as basic household or medical devices. They measure temperature using thermistors or thermopile infrared sensors. Standards require accurate and stable temperature readings, without jumps or significant errors under common electromagnetic environments (e.g., mobile phone calls). For forehead/ear thermometers, their infrared sensing and MCU processing circuits must have a certain degree of resistance to radio frequency interference.
