As ultra-small electronic devices, hearing aids must comply with EMC standards GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international), but additional considerations are made for their unique characteristics. Hearing aids are highly susceptible to interference from radio frequency devices such as mobile phones and Wi-Fi, producing a buzzing sound. Standards strictly regulate their immunity to radio frequency electromagnetic fields, requiring that the distortion and noise of the output sound be within acceptable ranges under different frequency bands and field strengths. Simultaneously, the wireless functions (e.g., Bluetooth) within digital hearing aids must also meet the corresponding transmission standards.
