Flow cytometers must meet the EMC standards of GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international). They focus cells through a sheath flow and use laser excitation to collect scattered light and fluorescence signals. The standards require the stability of the fluid system (sheath pump, sample pump), the power stability of the laser (usually multi-laser), and the ultra-high sensitivity of the photoelectric detection system (PMT or APD) to be maintained under complex electromagnetic environments. In particular, noise interference from the laser drive circuit and high-voltage PMT power supply must be prevented from affecting the acquisition of weak photoelectric signals.
