As a high-precision optical imaging device, pathology slide scanners must meet the EMC standards of GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international). Internally, they contain precision stepper motors/servo motors, linear/area CCD cameras, high-brightness LED light source drivers, and high-speed image processing boards. Standards require that the equipment should not interfere with other sensitive laboratory equipment (e.g., electronic balances, PCR instruments) during operation, and that its own imaging should be unaffected by external interference. The pulse current of the motor driver is a major source of interference; its power lines must use ferrite beads or common-mode inductors for filtering. The analog video output or high-speed digital interface of the camera sensor (e.g., Camera Link) must employ shielded connections and interface protection devices.
