As a portable device, the Holter monitor also complies with EMC standards GB 9706.1, YY 0505 (domestic), and IEC 60601-1-2 (international). Its unique challenge lies in its need for continuous and reliable operation in the uncertain electromagnetic environment of patients' daily activities. Standards require the device to withstand interference from common radiation sources such as mobile phones and Wi-Fi. The Holter's longer electrode wires are more likely to act as antennas to receive noise. Therefore, its input protection circuit needs to have both high ESD tolerance and wideband RF filtering capabilities, and a low-capacitance TVS array can be used. The internal SD card and USB interface used for storage and data transfer should also use ultra-low capacitance ESD protection devices (e.g., ESD5V0L4) to prevent data corruption.
