The industrial AI edge gateway reports telemetry data such as CPU, GPU, and NPU utilization to the cloud to ensure the telemetry network link remains uninterrupted under lightning surges. This requires adding a common-mode choke (CMZ2012A-900T) and a TVS ESDLC3V3D3B to the Ethernet port. Simultaneously, a PBZ1608E600Z0T ferrite bead is used in series with the telemetry processor power supply to isolate noise. Furthermore, an ESDLC5V0D8B clamp is added to the temperature sensor's I2C bus. Actual surge measurements show a reporting error of <1% for normal computing power data during ±2kV surges.
