The industrial AI edge gateway supports a low-power mode that disables some AI cores, retaining only a single NPU to reduce power consumption. Basic AI inference, such as intrusion detection, can maintain power consumption down to 30% of full load. To ensure no degradation of power ripple in low-power mode, the core power supply LC filter inductor CML3225A-101T and the ferrite bead PBZ1608E600Z0T must be retained and cannot be disabled. Memory self-refresh and Ethernet standby wake-up functions must also be maintained. Actual testing showed a low-power mode inference frame rate of 5fps and power consumption of 12W, while still meeting Class B emission standards.
