The industrial AI edge gateway software architecture supports simultaneous operation of eight protocols, including Ethernet, IP, Modbus, TCP, Profinet, OPC, UA, and CANopen. This concurrent protocol stack places a heavy load on the main CPU and network controller, potentially inducing power supply noise and radiation. Countermeasures include:
1) Adding LC filtering to the CPU core power supply using a common-mode inductor CML4532A-101T and a 220μF capacitor;
2) Providing independent isolation with a PBZ1608E600Z0T ferrite bead for each Ethernet PHY;
3) Using copper braided tape for chassis grounding with an impedance <0.1Ω.
Tested by the State Grid, it passed EMC Class A for all eight protocols.
