
The industrial AI edge gateway's PoE power supply meets the 802.3at standard, with a maximum output power of 25.5W, capable of driving AI modules to full load operation. To ensure that power supply noise does not interfere with AI computing power during PoE power supply, two stages of filtering are required on the PD side of the powered device. The first stage is a common-mode choke CMZ3225A-201T with an impedance of 200Ω, a current of 1A and a impedance of 100mA. The second stage is a differential-mode inductor PMS6045R6R8M0T and a 100μF capacitor. Additionally, a 0.1μF capacitor is connected in parallel to the PD controller enable pin to prevent transient jitter. Actual measurements show that the AI inference frame rate is consistent at 30fps under both PoE power supply and DC adapter power supply.
