Can the USB interface of an industrial AI edge gateway be connected to a local dataset used for AI training?

The industrial AI edge gateway's USB 3.0 interface supports connecting USB flash drives and external hard drives to import local training datasets. To prevent ESD damage from hot-swapping, a common-mode filter (CMZ2012A-900T) needs to be connected in series between the USB 3.0 differential lines. A resettable fuse (SMD2920-050-60V) and a TVS P4SMF5.0A are also added to the VBUS power supply. Simultaneously, an ESDULC 5V0D8B is applied to ground on the SSRX and SSTX signal lines. Its ultra-low capacitance of 0.5pF does not affect the 5Gbps speed. Actual testing showed that importing a 10GB dataset took less than 3 minutes, with a contact discharge of ±15kV and no reset.
