
Properly planning the routing of cable harnesses inside and outside the PCS cabinet is a simple and effective way to reduce inter-cable coupling interference. The principle of reducing coupling is to increase the spacing between interfering lines and sensitive lines and reduce parallel lengths.
Specific measures:
1. Categorized and layered laying: Bundle power cables, control cables, and communication cables separately and maintain sufficient spacing (e.g., >30cm). In cable trays or ducts, use a layered arrangement, with power lines at the bottom and signal lines at the top.
2. Avoid long parallel runs: Absolutely avoid long parallel runs of different types of cable harnesses. If parallel runs are unavoidable, increase the spacing as much as possible or install metal shielding plates in the middle.
3. Perpendicular crossing: When different types of cable harnesses must cross, they should cross perpendicularly to minimize the coupling area.
4. Utilize cabinet structure: Lay cable harnesses close to the metal cabinet wall or grounded metal cable ducts to utilize the shielding effect of metal.
5. Shorten length: While meeting connection requirements, shorten the length of all cables as much as possible, especially sensitive analog signal lines and high-speed communication lines.
