Congratulations: The 5th China Democratic League Economic Forum Successfully Convenes in Hubei Province

The Fifth Economic Forum of the China Democratic League was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province, with the theme "Promoting the Deep Integration of the Digital Economy and the Real Economy to Foster High-Quality Economic Development." Zhang Daohong, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, along with Yang Yunyan, Vice Governor of the Province and Chairman of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League, attended and delivered speeches.

Zhang Daohong pointed out that the forum's theme aligns with the key research topic entrusted by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to the Central Committee of the China Democratic League this year. The purpose of holding this economic forum is to promote deep integration in areas such as improving management functions, strengthening talent supply, solidifying the foundation for innovation, and enhancing platform development. Hubei Province has thoroughly implemented the central government's decisions and plans, continuously carried out an innovation-driven development strategy action plan led by the digital economy, and achieved significant results in promoting high-quality economic development. It is hoped that Hubei will explore innovations and provide more good experiences and practices.

Yang Yunyan noted that the Economic Forum of the China Democratic League serves as an important platform for the league to contribute suggestions to China's economic development and is a prominent feature of its participation in political affairs. Currently, Hubei is fully implementing the regional and industrial development strategic layout of "One Core Driving, Two Belts Supporting, and Three Zones Coordinating." The timing of this forum is opportune. He expressed hope for valuable suggestions and recommendations to help propel Hubei's high-quality economic development.

Five guests, including Sun Yu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered thematic reports. The forum received a total of 120 papers, with 39 recognized as outstanding. Eighteen award winners shared their insights during the exchange session.
