The State Council has issued the "Several Policies to Promote the High Quality Development of Integrated Circuit Industry and Software Industry in the New Era", which for the first time introduces a ten-year income tax exemption policy on the basis of existing policies, supporting the development of advanced technology production enterprises with 28nm (including) and below. The implementation of the "new policy" has long been beneficial for the development of China's integrated circuit industry and accelerated the process of semiconductor localization. The "two exemptions and three halvings" policy that covers the entire industry chain is expected to promote the healthy development of the entire industry chain. The increased support for key design and software enterprises is expected to help China overcome the shortcomings of key chips and EDA software.
