The chips produced by the two companies are applied to 5G base stations and digital integrated data centers, and are interrelated. Shen Chao, Deputy General Manager of Yuanxin Optoelectronics, told reporters that this year, they will continue to form a strong alliance as planned, packaging and selling the advantageous products of the two companies together.

In recent years, relying on platforms and leading enterprises such as Ningbo Microelectronics Innovation Industrial Park, Shengjisheng Semiconductor, and SMIC International Innovation Design Service Center, Yinzhou's upstream and downstream supply chains and horizontal cooperation chains have been used as breakthroughs to continuously improve the development ecology of upstream and downstream. A number of high-quality integrated circuit projects have rapidly gathered, strongly promoting the high-quality development of Yinzhou's integrated circuit industry. As of now, the district has introduced more than 70 projects related to the integrated circuit industry, gradually forming an ecosystem of integrated circuit packaging equipment industry, 5G optical communication industry, and CPU localization industry.

With the help of strong chain reinforcement, the integrated circuit industry in Yinzhou is entering the fast lane of high-quality development. Data shows that in the first half of this year, the integrated circuit industry in Yinzhou achieved a production value of 1.3 billion yuan, with a 9% increase in output. Driven by the integrated circuit industry, the industrial added value of Yinzhou's computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 44% in June, driving the local industrial added value growth rate by 4.5 percentage points.

Seizing the opportunities of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, we will accelerate the upgrading of the integrated circuit industry foundation and the modernization of the industrial chain, transform dispersion into agglomeration to enhance the fission effect, and accelerate the construction of a global advanced manufacturing base pilot zone. The relevant person in charge of Yinzhou District stated that Yinzhou not only needs to introduce integrated circuit projects, but also needs to build, supplement, and strengthen the chain, continuously enhancing the resilience and stability of the integrated circuit industry chain.

At present, in the Ningbo Integrated Circuit Equipment and Module Industry Base located in Yunlong Town, the Ningbo Shengjisheng Equipment Project is being vigorously promoted and is expected to be partially completed by the end of this year. At that time, a group of related supporting enterprises will join hands with it to further expand and strengthen; The Ningbo Microelectronics Innovation Industrial Park has gathered a group of integrated circuit design enterprises and back-end packaging equipment manufacturing enterprises, including SMIC Innovation Design Service Center, Jingu Technology, Yuanchuang Xindong, and Shangjin Automation. It is expected that the output value will exceed 1.8 billion yuan this year.

According to the plan, Yinzhou will accelerate the construction of a characteristic process integrated circuit industry base with international competitiveness, striving to achieve an integrated circuit industry output value of 5 billion yuan in the whole district by 2022 and an expected output value of 10 billion yuan by 2025.
