The first national standard in the field of blockchain technology in China has been released, GB/T 42752-2023

According to reports, the national standard "Reference Architecture for Blockchain and Distributed Accounting Technology" (GB/T 42752-2023) has recently been officially released. This is the first national standard in the field of blockchain technology approved for publication in China.

　　Blockchain is a new type of database software that integrates distributed networks, encryption technology, smart contracts, and other technologies. It is an important component of the new generation of information technology and an important technical support for the development of the digital economy. The national standard "Reference Architecture for Blockchain and Distributed Accounting Technology" is a fundamental and universal standard that guides the application and industrial development of blockchain technology in China. It standardizes the functional architecture, core elements, and other aspects of blockchain systems, providing reference guidance for the industry to unify their understanding of blockchain concepts, build and improve blockchain systems, and choose to use blockchain services. Currently, it has been applied in hundreds of typical blockchain enterprises.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to guide the National Standardization Technical Committee for Blockchain and Distributed Accounting Technology (TC590) and relevant units, increase the development of national standards in the field of blockchain and distributed accounting technology, carry out standard promotion actions nationwide, strengthen the depth of standard application, and continuously improve the service level of the blockchain industry.
