
Inverters are the cornerstone of industrial energy management and precision power control, enabling stepless speed regulation of motors by changing the power supply frequency. To address the high-energy transient surges from the power grid on the rectifier side and the extreme voltage spikes (dv/dt) generated by the high-frequency switching of the IGBTs on the inverter side, we offer protection solutions using high-flow-rate varistors (MOVs) and high-performance snubber circuits. These solutions effectively absorb the energy released by the motor's back electromotive force, suppress harmonic interference from contaminating the control logic, and ensure that the inverter maintains high energy conversion efficiency and a long service life even under conditions of high inertial loads, frequent start-stop cycles, and unstable power grid quality.
